Have you ever read Kafka's book The Trial and wondered about the strange logic behind the world? The creators of this blog certainly did!
After discovering that the logic behind H. P. Lovecraft's works concerning eldritch abominations could easily be used to explain the dream-like logic and bizarre motivations and actions behind the court system in The Trial, Cal and Kyraset off in an attempt to create a mod using the Neverwinter Nights toolset inspired by this knowledge.
This mod will take place in a world similar to the one depicted in The Trial but will in no way be a retelling of the book. It will also use elements from Lovecraft's work, having hints of creatures similar to Cthulhu and other cosmic horrors. The mod itself will have elements of horror and mystery and, if all goes as planned, will have multiple endings.
This blog will serve as a source of inspiration for us as well as providing updates on the mod's progress for those interested.
